Granted, one would argue that the company can afford to do this due to close ties with Oppo and Vivo but Realme’s success isn’t only limited to Kenya. Whichever market this company touches, it makes a dent. Realme’s device portfolio in the Kenyan market continues to grow by the day and today, the company is seeking to further make itself a name in the Kenyan market with the unveiling of the Realme C15 smartphone. Like many of the company’s recent offers, the C15 isn’t exactly a powerhouse. Under the hood is the Mediatek Helio G35 processor. This is paired with 3-4GB of RAM and a massive 6,000mAh battery. The C15 skims off on the display, sporting a 720p HD+ display that spans across 6.5-inches. It runs Android 10 and skins that with Realme UI. Here’s a tabulation of the device’s spec-sheet. Perhaps one of the highlight features of this device is the 18W fast-charging. While it might fall short of ‘faster’ Quick-charging technology from other rival OEMs, it is still impressive. This device follows the launch of the Realme C3, Realme 6, and a few more offers. All this goes to further solidify Realme’s position in the Kenyan mobile industry.
Price and Availability
The specs of the Realme C6 are pretty decent for anyone in the market looking for a decent Android experience but don’t want to break the bank. But how much is it going to run you? A post shared by realme Kenya (@realmekenya) on Sep 17, 2020 at 5:30am PDT Well, at launch, the device is set to retail at a recommended retail price of KES 16,999 and should be available on Jumia, Safaricom Shops, and other local retailers from September 21. The recommended retail price is fair, bearing in mind smartphone prices have slowly crept up over the years.
